Delete your Zimam account

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. You do not need to contact us to do it, and you do not need the app installed to ask.

  1. Path 1

    In the app

    1. 1Open Zimam and go to Settings.
    2. 2Tap your profile at the top.
    3. 3Choose Delete account.
    4. 4Confirm. The account and all of its data are erased immediately.

    Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Export a CSV first if you want to keep a copy.

  2. Path 2

    By email

    If you have already uninstalled the app, email us from the address linked to your account. We will verify it is you and complete the deletion within 30 days.

    • Send from your account email address
    • Subject: “Delete my Zimam account”
    • Mention whether you signed in with email, Apple or Google

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in identity
  • All ledgers, accounts and account names
  • All transactions, notes and categories
  • Budgets, goals and recurring rules
  • Receipt photos and screenshots you uploaded
  • Your review inbox and any pending captures

What does not

  • Your App Store or Google Play subscription

    Deleting the account does not cancel billing. Cancel Zimam Pro in your Apple or Google account settings, separately.

  • Anonymous crash and analytics data already sent

    Crash logs and usage events already received by Firebase are not linked back to a deleted account and are kept under Google's retention policy. They never contained amounts, payees, notes or account names.
