Acceptance
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Onports Private Limited ("Onports", "we", "us") covering the Zimam mobile application, this website and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Zimam.
For the iOS app, these Terms are the end-user licence agreement (EULA) between you and Onports. Apple Inc. is not a party to it, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce it against you. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
The service
Zimam is a personal-finance tracker. It lets you record transactions, organise them into accounts, categories and ledgers, set budgets and goals, and see insights about your spending.
Zimam is not a bank, a lender, a payment service or a financial adviser. It never connects to a bank account, never initiates or moves money, and nothing in the app is financial, tax or legal advice. Figures such as "safe to spend" are calculations based on what you have entered and should not be relied on as a statement of your actual funds.
We may change, add or remove features over time. We will try to give notice of changes that remove functionality you rely on.
Accounts
You need an account to use Zimam. You can sign in with an email address (using a one-time code or a password), Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details and your device secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. See Delete your account for details, including how to request deletion by email if you have uninstalled the app.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to store content you have no right to store;
- attempt to gain access to another person's account or data;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
- interfere with the Service, its servers or its providers, or use automated means to access it at volume;
- resell or sublicense the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- circumvent limits on the free plan or on AI capture.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
Your content
You own the content you put into Zimam: your transactions, notes, categories, accounts, budgets, goals, receipts and imported statements. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, back up and transmit your content solely to provide the Service to you, including sending it to the providers named in the Privacy Policy for that purpose. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies in backups, which are purged on the schedule described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the content you enter and for having the right to enter it.
AI features
AI capture (scan, say it, paste a batch) and statement import use a third-party AI model to read images, text and transcripts and propose transactions. Parsing is best-effort: amounts, payees and categories may be wrong, missing or duplicated.
Every proposed entry goes to your review inbox. You confirm each entry before it is saved to your ledger, and you are responsible for the accuracy of what you confirm. We are not liable for decisions you make based on a parsed entry, whether confirmed or not.
AI features need a network connection. The free plan includes a limited number of captures each month; Zimam Pro removes that limit. We may adjust limits and the underlying model over time.
Zimam Pro subscriptions
Zimam Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited AI capture, statement import, CSV export and PDF statements, and recurring rules. The free plan continues to work without it.
- Purchase and price. Pro is purchased inside the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The current price, the billing period and any free trial are shown in the app at the time of purchase, in your local currency.
- Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period, and your Apple or Google account is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Managing and cancelling. You manage and cancel the subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, not in the app and not by contacting us. Deleting the app or your Zimam account does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds. Payments are taken by Apple or Google under their terms. Refund requests are handled by the store you purchased from, under its refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly.
- Changes. If we change the price of Pro, the store will notify you and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies.
Purchase status is managed on our behalf by RevenueCat. We receive your entitlement status and an app user ID; we do not receive your payment details.
Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue Zimam, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Your content, Disclaimers and limitation of liability, and Governing law, continue to apply.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that parsed entries, calculations or insights will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Onports and its directors, employees and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for Zimam Pro in the twelve months before the claim arose, or, if you have paid nothing, to a nominal amount as permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of REPLACE_JURISDICTION, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the courts of REPLACE_JURISDICTION, unless the consumer-protection law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
Changes
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. For material changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
